Cancer statistics for year 2007

At the end of June 2009, TCR successfully completed the accrual of cancer registrations for 2007. We are now able to provide information on cancers diagnosed in 2007 in South East England, the areas of the London and South East Coast SHAs.

We have accrued more than 52,000 cancer registrations at the end of June. This is 4% higher than the expected number, based on accrual in the last three years. The proportion of death certificate only registrations is 2%.
