Presentations from the Thames Cancer Registry Clinical Conference May 2006The Registry presented some early results from several clinical projects to its conference at the Royal College of Physicians on May 3rd 2006. A session entitled "Using epidemiological data" was chaired by Professor Mike Richards, National Cancer Director, Cancer Action Team and another "Using data to ask questions about clinical care" by Professor Michael Pearson, Head of Clinical Standards, Royal College of Physicians, London. The conference was well-evaluated and the Registry is pleased to make initial materials from some of the presentations available as pdf documents below. The registry is working with key individuals to make a series of more specific publications and information products available for cancer networks and primary care trusts as a result of this meeting. Individuals requiring further information or having ideas for future collaborations using the existing registry data should contact Professor Henrik Møller, Director of the Registry Henrik.Moller@kcl.ac.uk or Dr Elizabeth Davies, Senior Lecturer in Cancer Registration Elizabeth.Davies@kcl.ac.uk A similar conference is planned for 2007.
